I want to seize this opportunity to welcome you warmly to the University of Medical Sciences (UNIMED), General Studies, and Entrepreneurship Unit (GES) webpage. The GES Unit was established in 2015 at the inception of the University following the recommendation of the National Universities Commission (NUC). The GES serves all the academic programs at UNIMED by providing instruction for the mandated General Education and Entrepreneurship courses.

The mission of the GES unit is to provide teaching, research, and services that would encourage and stimulate learning. We focus our effort towards entrepreneurial development of our students' capabilities through a well-articulated academic process that will promote sustainable productivity in any sphere of life.

The GES Unit is envisioned towards providing a wholesome and comprehensive education for intellectual and entrepreneurial development of our students in preparing them for leadership roles and service to society.  An educational experience that will empower our graduates to act with professional competence and ethical steadfastness in fulfilling their obligations to the community at large.
