My name is Ngozi Otuonye. I am a Medical Microbiologist with focus on Immunogenetics. I am privileged to be the Laboratory Manager of Central Research Laboratory and a Deputy Director Medical Laboratory Services. I was privileged to establish two Ethical Review Boards at Ambrose Alli University Ekpoma and Infectious Disease Hospital, Lagos, through a grant award from European and Developing Country Clinical Trials Partnership (EDCTP). Furthermore, with the support of the Chief Medical Director, I established a Blood Bank and HIV laboratory at Irrua Specialist Hospital. Presently, I am involved in training Biomedical Scientist, Internship and IT students on GLP, SOP, Ethics and Laboratory Safety. I lectured Bioethics and Research Methods to MSc students and Immunology to 3rd MBBS clinical intake students at Nnamdi Azikiwe University Nnewi Campus Anambra State 2012-2019. I am a member of Rind Clinical Trail Group NIMR and previous EDCTP Scientific Review Committee member.
