Temidayo Daniel Adeniyi is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Medical Laboratory Science, Histopathology Unit, at University of Medical Sciences (UNIMED), Ondo City, Nigeria. His specialties are histopathology and neuroscience while the research areas are cellular neuropathology, public and environmental health, genomics, and drug discovery.
His research has focused basically on heavy metals pollution burden on the waterways, neurodegeneration associated with environmental pollutants and drug discovery using a combination of ligands from indigenous herbs. He is a biomedical scientist with many years of experience in immunohistochemistry and histochemistry with reference to neuronal cell biomarkers. He is passionate about filling knowledge gaps and solving health problems, especially neurodegenerative disorders.
He is a Fellow of the Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria, member of the Society for Cellular Pathology Scientists of Nigeria, member of the Nigerian Bioinformatics and Genomic Network, and member of the Anatomical and Neuroscience Societies of Nigeria.
