1. JOB TITLE: SENIOR HORTICULTURIST {CONTISS 09}
QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE
Candidate must possess 5 ‘O’ level credits (WASSCE/SSCE/NECO/NABTEB) including English Language and Mathematics in not more than two sittings plus a good first degree not below second class lower division in Ornamental Horticulture or related discipline with at least 6 years’ cognate post qualification experience.
2. JOB TITLE: HORTICULTURIST II {CONTISS 07}
QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE
Candidate must possess 5 ‘O’ level credits (WASSCE/SSCE/NECO/GCE/NABTEB) including English Language and Mathematics in not more than two sittings plus a good first degree not below second class lower division in Ornamental Horticulture or related discipline.
Please note that this position is specifically for UNIMED graduates of the Department of Biosciences and Biotechnology (Plant Biology and Biotechnology Option)
3. JOB TITLE: ASSISTANT HORTICULTURIST {CONTISS 05}
QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE
Candidate must possess 5 ‘O’ level credits (WASSCE/SSCE/NECO/GCE/NABTEB). The 5 credits should include 2 (two) science subjects, one of which must be Agricultural Science or Biology and English Language plus Parks & Garden Certificate with 9 years’ cognate experience.
Also, Candidate must possess a good ND or its equivalent in related discipline.
4. JOB TITLE: HORTICULTURAL ASSISTANT {CONTISS 03}
QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE
Candidate must possess 5 ‘O’ level credits (WASSCE/SSCE/NECO/GCE/NABTEB). The 5 credits should include 2 (two) science subjects, one of which must be Agricultural Science or Biology and English Language.
SALARIES AND ALLOWANCES
Salaries and allowances are as obtainable in the Nigerian Public Universities.
