We write to invite, requesting your company’s participation, support and sponsorship in the Animal Care and Use in Research, Education and Testing [ACURET] IACUC National Workshop to be held at the TETFUND Auditorium, University of Medical Sciences, Ondo, Nigeria, from Aril 16th -20th, 2024. This workshop is specifically designated for IACUC/AEC of Universities and Research Institutions from Nigeria and other African Countries, the largest community of biomedical and Biotechnological research, education and testing in Nigeria. This is the second edition of this ‘Train-the-Trainers’ workshop, with an objective to inspire, stimulate and spur the adoption of a minimal essential configuration and establishment of standard operating procedures for research animal facilities across Universities/Institution where animals are kept on the premises, to promote quality assurance in animal-based health research from Universities in Africa.


We anticipate the workshop to attract a participation of 120 - 150 Research administrators, Principal Investigators, Researchers, Veterinary and Medical Practitioners, Instructional Technology and Media Professionals, Researchers Associates, Consultants, Start-Ups, Policy Makers, Academic Decision-Makers and Educational Technology Industry Leaders, Facility Managers, Animal vendors and other professionals from across the country and other African Countries and we anticipate an exceptional response for the 2024 program.


The program is designed as an exposé on the principles of humane animal care and use based upon the 3Rs within the context of a developing country. In addition, it will offer many networking opportunities between sponsors and delegates with attractive incentives for delegates to interact with exhibitors. The Exhibition area is centrally located in the Auditorium Lobby and will be the location of several functions, providing excellent traffic flow throughout the program.
