You are welcome to the wonderful world of nursing; the caring profession and the mainstay of the health sector. The World Health Organization in 2019 declared the year 2020 as theYear of the Nurse and midwife”, in honor of the 200th birth anniversary of Florence Nightingale; the lady with the lamp and the mother of modern nursing. This is in recognition of the immense contribution of nursing and nurses to the wellbeing of individuals, families, and communities.

On behalf of the faculty and staff, I would like to formally welcome you to the Faculty of Science at the University of Medical Sciences (UNIMED) at Ondo City - the first Specialized Medical University in Nigeria.
