Okunlola Oluyemi Adewole is a young but growing researcher specializing in biostatistics, spatial statistics, epidemiology, and machine learning. He received his BSc. and MSc. in statistics from Nigeria's premier university, the University of Ibadan, in 2010 and 2013, respectively. He is currently pursuing his PhD. He began his professional career as a data analyst in a private research firm, rose to the rank of chief analyst, and joined the University Medical Sciences, Ondo workforce in 2016 as a senior academic planning officer in the university's academic planning division, while also volunteering as an associate lecturer in the Department of Mathematical and Computer Sciences. Due to his enthusiasm for teaching and research, he requested a change in status from non-teaching staff to faculty member, which he received on September 1, 2020. He is currently a lecturer in the Department of Mathematical and Computer Sciences of the university's Faculty of Science. He has authored and coauthored peer-reviewed published articles in reputable academic journals such as Elsevier, Springer, PLoS One, PUBMED, and others.
