Dr Christopher J. Olowookere obtained B. Sc Degree in Physics from University of Ilorin, Ilorin, Nigeria in 1992. He later proceeded to the famous University of Ibadan, Ibadan, Nigeria where he obtained Master of Science (M. Sc) degree in Radiation and Health Physics in 2000. Dr Olowookere also obtained a Postgraduate Diploma in Education (PGDE, Science Education) from Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago Iwoye in 2002. In 2004, he joined Bowen University as an Assistant Lecturer. He later moved to Ajayi Crowther University, Oyo where he was employed as Lecturer II in December, 2006. He completed his Ph D in 2016. He is currently a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Physics with Electronics, University of Medical Sciences, Ondo City, Nigeria.
His research specialties include: Radiation Dosimetry,Quality Assurance and Spacebiophysics. He is a member of Nigerian Institute of Physics and Nigerian Legion. His hobbies are reading and gardening.
