Dr. Demilade O. Ibirongbe is a disciplinary public health and community medicine physician with special interest in Health Policy and Management, and Health Economics. He graduated from the University of Ilorin with an MBBS degree in 2008, and is a Fellow of the West African College of Physicians (WACP). His research interests are in Health systems management, health care financing, and epidemiology and disease control (infectious and communicable disease).
He is skilled in health research conceptualization and conduct, project management, cost analysis, and monitoring and evaluation. Presently Dr. Ibirongbe lectures with the University of Medical Sciences, (UNIMED) Ondo, Nigeria, where he teaches undergraduate students in the Faculty of Clinical Sciences, Basic Medical Sciences, Allied Health Sciences, and Faculty of Nursing. His hobbies include writing, traveling, and listening to music.
