DR. Theresa Azonima Irinyenikan, a female and a Nigerian, is a Lecturer and a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist at the University of Medical Sciences, Ondo and University of Medical Sciences Teaching hospital Complex Akure, Ondo State.
She obtained her MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine & Surgery) degree from the University of Benin. She proceeded for her residency training in the department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology at the University College hospital, Ibadan, where she finished with fellowship degrees of the National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria and West African College of Surgeons in April and May 2011. She obtained a Masters degree in Public Health (MPH) with sub-specialty in reproductive health from the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife.
She is a researcher with a sub-specialty area in the field of reproductive health. She has numerous scientific publications in the field of Obstetrics and Gynaecology in both Local and International Journals.
