Dr. Adeyomoye Olorunsola completed his doctoral degree at the University of Ibadan, Nigeria. His research focuses on applied physiology and biotechnology, neuroendocrinology and metabolism, and cardiovascular physiology. He adopts and utilizes high-resolution imaging microarray, next-generation sequencing, and current techniques in molecular biology to analyze various factors affecting human health and the environment to achieve sustainable development goals. His research involves applying various biostimulants, bioproducts, bioresources, bioactive molecules, and bionanoparticles derived from plants, beneficial microorganisms, marine ecosystems, and ocean deposits to establish the molecular and cellular activities involved in pathophysiology, toxicology, and neuro-metabolic degenerative disorders in human health and maintain a cleaner environment. Dr. Adeyomoye has also embarked on a research fellowship in Shiels and Saxton's Lab at the Division of Cardiovascular Sciences, University of Manchester, using the Research England International Science Partnership Fund. There, he focused on investigating the impact of acute exposure to the ubiquitous polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon phenanthrene on vascular tone, utilizing microdissection and wire myography techniques. This experience equipped him with valuable skills in experimental design, analysis, and interpretation of myograph data. Dr. Adeyomoye is proficient in isolating small resistance arteries and mounting them on wire myograph chambers. He is adept at conducting vascular experiments using the myograph system and LabChart software and evaluating the effects of various compounds on vessels with and without perivascular adipose tissue. Additionally, his expertise extends to genotyping, gene expression analysis, western blotting, immunohistochemistry, and cloning techniques.
