Oghale Oghenefego Ovuakporie-Uvo, Ph.D is a Doctor of Phytomedicine in the Department of Science Laboratory Technology (SLT), University of Medical Sciences, Ondo State, Nigeria. She received her B.Sc in Science Laboratory Technology (Biotechnology Option) from the Department of Science Laboratory Technology at the University of Benin; M.Sc and Ph.D in Phytomedicine from the Department of Plant Biology and Biotechnology, University of Benin, Nigeria. She joined the services of the University of Medical Sciences, as a Lecturer II in April, 2019. Her research interests are in Biotechnology, Phytomedicine; Ethno-botany; Ethno-medicine; Pharmacology and Toxicology. She has over 30 publications in internationally peer reviewed journals to her credit. Her research into medicinal plants have taken her to a few countries around the World where she has been part of international conferences, seminars and workshops. Dr Oghale Ovuakporie-Uvo is open for research collaborations.
