Ayeomoni Moses Omoniyi is a native of Okitipupa in Ondo State South Senatorial District, he attended the first three foremost Universities in South-West, Geo-Political Zone in Nigeria, as he obtained his Bachelor Degree in English from University of Ile-Ife, Masters Degree in English Language from University of Lagos, Akoka Lagos and his Doctorate Degree in English Language from University of Ibadan, Ibadan. He later rounded off his education with Postgraduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) at Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife.
He has lectured virtually in all the basic levels of tertiary education in Nigeria. He is currently a Reader (Associate Professor) in the department of English, Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife. He teaches Stylistics which is his area of specialisation. Currently, a Visiting Associate Professor in the General studies Unit of University of Medical Sciences (UNIMED), Ondo. He has a reasonable number of both local and foreign publications to his credit.
