Dr. S.O. Ogoanah, is a Senior Lecturer at the University of Benin, Benin City, Nigeria and holds a Ph.D (Herpetology). She is presently on sabbatical with the Department of Biological Sciences, University of Medical Sciences, Ondo City, Ondo State. She has been working on amphibian diversity and ecology for over 15years and has supervised both undergraduate and Postgraduate projects in this area. She lectures at the Department of Biological Sciences (Animal and Environmental Biology Unit), UNIMED where she takes courses in physiology, ecology and wildlife biology . She has twenty -one publications and has attended several International Conferences She is currently working on diet and niche partitioning in amphibians. She also has interest in the use of animals in traditional medicine. Hobbies include reading and listening to African Christian songs.
