Francis Adelade G.O. Fakoya is an astute Medical Educator and Biomedical investigator. He holds the Medical degree (MBChB) from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, along with MSc/PhD. from the same Institution. He was visiting scholar at the University of Leipzig, Germany and obtained certification in Analytical and Quantitative Light Microscopy from MBL, Woods Hole, USA. He served on a variety of Committees at different levels within the University system, departmental, faculty, College as well as Congregation at the Obafemi Awolowo University Ile-Ife, including being the pioneer Director of the IHRPT, College of Health Sciences, Delta State University, Abraka. He became Full Professor of Anatomy, Histology and Cell Biology at St. George’s University, Grenada; Chaired the IACUC and GAC and pioneered the Grenada Brain Bee Challenge as the National Director. Professionally, member of Anatomical Society, ISN, Anatomical society of Nigeria, Society for BDRP and Principal, ACURET.ORG.
