CSP Sylvester Adediran Taiwo (Rtd) was born on 5th of August, 1953 in Ondo West Local Government Area in Ondo State. He began his Professional Career in Security at the Detective College, Enugu State between 1985-1986 where he studied prosecution. He served in various Units/formations in the Nigerian Police Force. He voluntarily retired on the rank of Chief Superintendent of Police (CSP) in the year -2009 he has worked in Federal College of Technology, Akure (FUTA) as Location Commander 2014 – 2015, Federal College of Agriculture, Location Commander (FECA) - 2015-2017, Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba, Akoko (AAUA), Location Commander – 2017-2018. He is happily married with Children. He was appointed as an Assistant Chief Security Officer of UNIMED on 1st April, 2022 and currently works with the University.
