Oluwasegun Ayeni is a Nigeria trained Occupational Therapist having obtained a Bachelor's degree in Medical Rehabilitation with specialization in Occupational Therapy (BMR-OT) from the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife and also a Masters of Science (MSc) degree in Public Health from the University of Medical Sciences, Ondo city, Nigeria. As an Occupational Therapist, I am interested in maximum functionality of every individual using recent trends and evidence based practice in Occupational Therapy to achieve maximum functionality and independence. This has shaped my research interest in areas like occupational science, ergonomics and vocational rehabilitation where I have published about 5 peer reviewed papers in reputable journals both local and international. As an Occupational Therapy teacher, I am passionate about raising new generation of Occupational Therapists that are grounded in theory, scope and practice of Occupational Therapy laced with hands-on skill for effective patient management. Aside being an Occupational Therapy teacher and researcher, I am a Christian belonging to the Anglican church. My hobbies include public speaking, creative writing, reading and teaching of God's words.
