Dr. Christianah A. Akinnawo earned her PhD in Chemistry from the University of Johannesburg South Africa. She had her other postgraduate degrees from the Federal University of Technology Akure and her first degree from Obafemi Awolowo University, Nigeria. Her research explores natural products and inorganic materials to address global health and environmental issues. she has published several articles in journals of high impact factor. She has attracted international grants including The World Academy of Science and the National Research Foundation South Africa. Due to her outstanding contributions to her field, She is recognized as one of the top 15% in her field by the Golden Key International Honour Society, South Africa and granted lifetime membership in the society. She belongs to different professional bodies such as the Royal Society of Chemistry, the South African Chemical Institute and the Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria. She is a passionate mentor and singer.
