Dr. Oluwabunmi O. AROGUNDADE obtained her B.Sc., M.Sc. and Ph.D. in Botany from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Nigeria. She is a Plant Taxonomist and her research interest focuses on the use of current taxonomic techniques as fields of evidences in clarifying identity and classification problems among groups of plants. She has successfully used Plant Morphology, Plant Anatomy, Palynology, Numerical Taxonomy, Plant Biochemical Constituents and Molecular Biology as tools in resolving a number of taxonomic conundrums among groups of plants. Her research findings have been published in highly reputable journals. Her current research interest is in the areas of Phytomedicine and DNA barcoding of medicinal plants.
