Dr. Stephen Akinnifesi Fatusin
Born on July 9, 1954 in one of the remote villages of Ogun State called Efire in Ijebu waterside, (to Ondo and Ikale Parents, Father and Mother) I attended both the Primary and Secondary Schools at the Ifelodun United Primary School, Efire and Ilusin Grammar School, Ilusin, Ogun Waterside respectively. I spent only four years in the Secondary School on account of my modest measure of intellectual capability.
In 1976, I attended the Methodist Teacher’s Training College, Sagamu where I obtained the Teacher’s Grade II Certificate. After teaching for one year I wrote JAMB as a pioneer candidate and gained admission to the University of Ife where I graduated with a First Class Honours in English Education in 1982.
I started teaching in the University of Ife during my NYSC year and later moved to Adeyemi College of Education Campus (under UNIFE) in 1983.
