Professor Olufunmilayo S. Omoba, completed her B.Sc in Food Science and Technology from The Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta, Ogun State; M.Tech in Food Storage Technology and PhD in Food Science and Technology, both from The Federal University of Technology, Akure.
Prof. Omoba began her academic career at the Federal University of Technology, Akure, as an Assistant Lecturer and rose through the ranks to become a Professor. She had post-doctoral experience in University of Pretoria, South Africa.
She has published 75 peer-reviewed articles in national and international journals, and has made five (5) contributions to books.
Professor Omoba is a reviewer to many national and international Journals. She is an External Examiner and Assessor to many Universities within the country
Her area of research include: Processing and development of new food products from agricultural material or waste and assessing their nutraceutical potentials.
