I am Dr. Adesoye Idowu Abioye, a Ph.D. holder in Mathematical Modelling with a specialization in Mathematical Biology, Infectious diseases and Biomathematics. I also have M.Sc. in Mathematics (Applied option) and B.Sc. in Mathematics. I have a strong passion for understanding and analyzing Infectious diseases, Epidemiology and Mathematical Modelling. My research interests also encompass differential equations, numerical analysis and optimization techniques. My research has mainly focused on Mathematical models of Infectious diseases like COVID-19, Malaria, Lassa fever, and Typhoid fever. These models aim to provide insights into the dynamics of disease transmission and develop optimal control strategies for disease management. I have been actively involved in reviewing publications for esteemed journals such as Chaos, Solutions & Fractals, the Journal of the Franklin Institute, Data in Brief and Plos One. My professional memberships include the Nigerian Mathematical Society (NMS) and the Mathematical Association of Nigeria (MAN).
