Anthonia Olufunke Oluduro is a Professor of Microbiology at Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Nigeria. She holds a Ph.D. from the University of Ado-Ekiti, Nigeria (2006). She was the Head of Department of Microbiology (2015-2017). She was appointed a full Professor in 2014. She has acquired 26 years of teaching and research experience in Microbiology. Her areas of research focus are on Environmental Microbiology and Public Health, and her current research is on tracking antimicrobial resistance in environmental organisms and evaluating antimicrobial activities of compounds in plants. She has successfully mentored and supervised more than 50 postgraduates’ students comprising M.Sc.and Ph.D. She has 90 publications to her credit comprising high-quality scholarly Journal articles (86), chapters in books (2) and a textbook. She has won several grants to participate in learned conferences and workshops outside the country. Her hobbies include counseling and singing.
