The Centre will pursue it objectives through.

A. The diagnosis of infectious diseases using genomics, to reduce human suffering.

B. The detection of the origin and onset of various infectious diseases known and unknown, using genomic technologies, to determine transmission patterns and trajectory for appropriate intervention and control.

C. Offering opportunities for the development of vaccines and therapeutics using genomic technologies like mRNA vaccines.

D. Monitoring of emerging drug resistance through detection to guide drug selection for patients.

E. Using genomics to characterize diseases, and factors contributing to the development of such diseases in order to improve health and quality of life.
