Dr ADESINA Ayodeji Isaac

Dr. Isaac Ayodeji ADESINA holds a Doctorate degree (Ph.D.) in Food Microbiology from the Federal University of Technology, Akure, Nigeria. His research interests lie in Applied Microbiology and Biotechnology: Food biopreservatives of microbial and plant origin (bacteriocin production by lactic acid bacteria, bioactive constituents with antimicrobial potency from fruit peels), functional foods, biocontrol of plant pathogens, and biofertilizer potential of yeast isolates. He is particularly interested in Lactic Acid Bacteria (LAB) research. Dr. Adesina is a member of many learned/ professional societies including the American Society for Microbiology (ASM), Nigerian Society for Microbiology (NSM), Nigerian Institute of Food Science and Technology (NIFST), and Nigerian Society for Experimental Biology (NISEB). He has published articles in reputable journals and conference proceedings.
