Dr. Funmilayo Joy GBENGA-FABUSIWA is a well-seasoned lecturer in the Department of Chemistry, UNIMED, Ondo-State, Nigeria. She bagged PhD in Food Chemistry, MTech. Industrial Chemistry, BSC. in Applied Chemistry. A fellow of IPMD. A member of SAN; Chemical Society of Nigeria; Functional Food and Nutraceuticals Association of Nigeria; Nigeria Institute of Food Sciences and NIFST Western Chapter. Robust teaching experience in School of Nursing and Undergraduate levels. Presently, the acting HOD of Food sciences, UNIMED with many publications in high impact International and National Journals, with citations more than twenty (20). An inventor, who produced pigeon-pea medicinal biscuits useful in the management of diabetes with patent registration number (Patents and Designs Act: CAP 344 Laws of the Federation of Nigeria 1990). RP:NG/P/2018/383, CERT No 010784. One of her papers was rated the most well read in WILEY Journal, honored with certificate of achievement and given letter of commendation by FUTA.
