On behalf of the Faculty of Allied Health Sciences (FAHS), University of Medical Sciences (UNIMED), Ondo City, Ondo State. I give glory to God for His mercies over everyone here present. Please free to reach out to us concerning our programs so that we can together explore relevant areas of mutual benefit.

We are also using this opportunity to warmly welcome our new and old students to the Faculty as the school resumes for 2025/2026 academic session. This Faculty comprises of five departments which include the following: Medical laboratory sciences Radiography and radiation science Human nutrition and dietetics Health information management, and Complementary and alternative medicine These Departments are opened for any enquiries about our vision and missions.

The faculty office is also available for details about our various programs. Our vision is to produce graduates that can make scientific impacts locally and globally. We maintain academic integrity in all our programs and we are diligent in our dealings with both the university community and the world at large. Once again you are welcome to FAHS.

OBJECTIVES

a. To produce graduates who are well grounded in theoretical knowledge and clinical skills of their fields of specialization to enable them meet the health needs of the society.

b. To produce graduates who will not only meet local needs but also be globally relevant.

c. To be nationally and internationally known for quality teaching, scholarship and research.

d. To encourage research, publishing and broadening of knowledge by staff.

e. To ensure conducive environment for teaching and learning for students and staff.

ACADEMIC PROGRAMMES

The faculty is made up of two department which are:

Department of Medical Laboratory Science offering Bachelor of Science in MLS degree

Department of Physiotherapy offering Bachelor of Physiotherapy degree
