I am Bola Francis Akinkunmi, a Consultant Paediatrician with special interest in Paediatric Cardiology, Neonatology and Paediatric Critical care. My Research areas include the cardiovascular effect of severe Malaria in Children. I am also involved in studying effect of antenatal interventions on outcome in preterm newborn (A WHO project) . I am the Project Coordinator of HIV/AIDS project( An intervention project in collaboration with APIN Aids preventive Initiative in Nigeria Supported by CDC). I lam a lecturer in the department of Paediatrics and Child Health at University of Medical Sciences Ondo.
I am the current Acting head of department of Paediatrics and Child Health and the Acting Deputy Chairman Medical Advisory Committee Clinical in the Teaching Hospital. I am married, we have three children. I love travelling.
