The Counselling and Human Development Centre is a unit in the Vice Chancellor’s office. The Unit was created in January 2016 to impart specific skills and learning opportunities in a proactive, preventive manner to ensure that all students can achieve school success through academic (learning to learn), career (learning to work), personal/social development experiences. (learning to live) and community involvement (learning to contribute). All these would help students improve themselves in all areas and be full-functioning individuals. We also provide workplace counselling for staff.
We have been saddled with the lofty responsibility of providing all-around counselling to our student population. Students have been counselled on the whole gamut of counselling issues, ranging from development of good study habits, effective time management, psychological and health problems, and follow-up activities. The results have been astounding and encouraging
