The University of Medical Sciences, Ondo city, Ondo State, (UNIMED), is poised to be at the forefront of providing equal access to persons living with disability (staff, students and visitors).
We recognize both visible and invisible disabilities. Services for implementation of accommodation to address the limitations for each person is assessed on a case by case basis, based on the impact of the disability on daily living as documented and recommended by experts.
Students and staff volunteers are welcome. Support from the friends of UNIMED, well-meaning individuals, Philanthropists, Government, Non-governmental Organizations and the general public is highly appreciated.
The Office of Disability Affairs and Services, ODAS, welcomes students to participate fully in all aspects of campus life. Our mission is to ensure that students with physical, medical, psychological or learning disabilities are provided access to all school programs, activities and services with no compromise in the integrity of academic programs and services. To this effect, special services for persons with disability, such as sign language, will be incorporated into the curriculum and the campus will be made sign language compliant.
Our portal is Open. Students in need of accommodation should make contact for registration, educational accessibility and disability resources.
