You are welcome to Odosida Campus (which is one of the campuses of the University), University of Medical Sciences, Ondo. The University of Medical Sciences, Ondo started operating Directorates of Campuses in August 2022 during the third year of our amiable Vice Chancellor, Prof. Adesegun Olayiwola Fatusi.

The Directorate of Odosida Campus was one of the four campuses (Laje, Odosida, Bolorunduro and Akure) created then.

Basically, the Directorate of Odosida Campus comprises of Odosida campus, Odosida Annex, University Health Centre and Faculty of Medical Rehabilitation located at University of Medical Sciences Teaching (UNIMEDTH) Complex (Former General Hospital). 

The main Odosida campus basically houses Faculty of Sciences,  Faculty office of Allied Health Sciences, Departmental Office of Medical Laboratory Sciences, Department of Human Nutrition and Dietetics,  and Bursary Unit of the University.

The Departments in Faculty of Science being housed in Odosida Campus are Biosciences and Biotechnology, Chemistry, Microbiology, Physics, Food Science and Technology, and Science Laboratory Technology.

i.      Day-to-day administration/coordination of the Campus.

ii.   Development and implementation of all short-term and long-term strategies of the campus and ensure consistency in the same.

iii.  Assisting Management with accurate information as required for the campus and initiate decisions.

iv.  Determining and ensuring effective maintenance of organized structure on campus.

v.    Supervising effective working of all campus facilities.

vi.  Analyzing all fiscal requirements for campus and execute strategies to achieve the same.

vii. Ensuring adherence to all statutory and regulatory regulations.

viii.    Ensuring that wastes are properly evacuated as at when due.

ix.  Ensuring that the environment are properly maintained.

x.    Ensuring that electricity bills are paid as at when due and campus is properly lightened.

xi.  Providing support to all services rendered on the campus.

xii. Supervising all administrative functions for campus and ensure a neat and clean appearance.

xiii.    Supervising and coordinating the activities of the Head of Administration.

xiv.    Attracting infrastructure facilities from reputable members of the public.

xv. Performing any other function as may be determined by the Vice-Chancellor or Management from time to time.
