It is with great enthusiasm that I welcome you to the Directorate of Akure Campus of the University of Medical Sciences. The Campus is situated at the former School of Nursing, along Igbatoro road, Akure.

The Campus houses the Institute of Distance Learning and Continuing Education where all non - regular programmes such as Predegree, B. Sc conversion, Diploma etc are domiciled. It also houses Community Nursing and Midwifery programmes being anchored by Ondo State Ministry of Health.

Furthermore, students from the Faculties of Clinical Sciences, Dental Science, Nursing and Allied Health make use of the hostel facilities during their clinical posting.

Our campus is committed to ensuring the provision of conducive learning environment and support services to facilitate academic excellence and personal growth.

As the Ag. Director, I am dedicated to ensuring that our campus remains a thriving hub of intellectual achievements and innovation. We strive to foster a culture inclusivity, respect and collaboration among staff, students and the university community.
