OBJECTIVES

Our Objectives are;

a.    To put in place adequate security measures to secure lives and property.

b.    To undertake routine patrols, as a STANDING ORDER to keep active checks on the guards, beats and the facilities of the University.

c.    To make alive our CCTV to be able to keep an active surveillance on the premises.

d.   As a point of duty, to disseminate security information for self-protection and ditto property from time to time.

e.    To investigate all cases of felony, misdemeanor and simple offences with equity, fairness and Military despatch and precision.

f.     To have a perfect access control, particularly at the gates with due regards for ingress and egress rules.

g.   To make all registers and record books effective and functional.

h.   To observe POST ORDER procedure at different beats and duty posts.

i.     To create a robust traffic control where human and vehicular movements will be seamless and hitch free.

j.     To create an active FIRE POINT where real fire alarm and fire alarm simulation will be strictly observed.

k.    The need to switch-off all electrical appliances and the closing of all doors and windows at the end of each day’s work will be seriously emphasized.

l.     To enforce all lawful and document driven orders and directives as may apply to the University.

m.  The training and re-training of security operatives’ on security duties, drill, and security measures to forestall avoidable hazards and other life threatening dangers is a sinequa-non.

n.   Strict observance of COVID- 19 preventive measures is compulsory for all, until the situation naturally peters out.
