UNIMED Appoints Owoeye as Chief Security Officer

 

                                                        

OLUSEGUN OWOEYE  joined the Nigerian Police Force on August 1, 1988, where he had the privilege of serving in different States of the Federation before he retired but not tired in the year 2023.

He was a Divisional Police Officer in various Police Stations across the country. He served in that capacity at Ogori-Magongo, Kabba, Lokoja, Ankpa, Okene, and Gegu-Beki Divisions in Kogi State, Ihie in Abia State. He also served as a Deputy Commissioner of Police in Ijebu-Igbo and Owode Egbado in Ogun State before he retired meritoriously from the Police Service on August 1st, 2023.

Owoeye had his early education at St. Silas Primary School and Eleyo High School, both in Ikere, Ekiti State. He proceeded to the then Ogun State University, now Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago-Iwoye, Ogun State, where he bagged a Second-Class Upper Credit in Philosophy in the year 2021.

Olusegun promised to assist the Vice Chancellor and the management in providing an enabling, safe, and secure environment that will make the institution conducive for exceptional quality and impactful education.
